Chris Beirne was born in Richmond, Virginia and is a graduate of the Georgia Institue of Technology with a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. He has cross-cultural experience studying in Australia and ministering in Mexico as an exchange student with Globalscope Mexico City. Chris has held leadership positions at Georgia Tech's Christian Campus Fellowship (GTCCF), and gained further experience in campus ministry through a full-time internship with GTCCF. Ministering to Georgia Tech freshmen, Chris led small group Bible studies and organized fellowship activities to promote a freshman community within the ministry. He attended graduate school at Emmanuel School of Religion to continue preparation for Globalscope. Chris’ relentless energy and passion for the students of Spain is essential for Globalscope’s success in Salamanca. Chris has committed four years to Globalscope Spain and moved to Salamanca in September 2004.
